On December 19, 2025, we took our 5-year-old child for a routine well visit. During the examination, the doctor checked his heartbeat and noted some wheezing. He asked whether there was any family history of asthma. We explained that there is no family history, but mentioned that our son had been coughing at night while sleeping. Based on this information, the doctor recommended that we schedule an appointment with the asthma clinic and, in the meantime, suggested using an inhaler. We agreed to this recommendation. We were then given a spacer mask and shown how to use it, and the inhaler prescription was sent to our pharmacy. An asthma clinic appointment was scheduled for December 31, but later on December 30th, we called and canceled the appointment. On January 6, 2026, we received a bi

Avoid this practice at all cost! How they treat their patients is sickening and their billing department is atrocious. I cannot believe they can be legally be in practice with their despicable billing department and administration. They will try and scam you anyway they can. It’s truly sad and scary. Always review what you are being billed for and make sure it’s appropriate to the service that was actually rendered. Stay away from Grand Strand Peds and avoid the nightmare.

We took our children there for years to see Dr Whitman. Both of our sons have autism. She was also nice to our kids and would talk sweet to them but I never felt good about seeing her, always felt rushed and like my concerns were either dismissed or unaddressed. When the studies about adding folinic acid to children with autism and the FRAT test came out we made an appointment with her, provided the studies and asked her if she would sign off on a test that we would pay for, or at least peruse the information and get back to us, she cut us off and said she won’t do that. Wouldn’t even hear us out. She said give him “folic acid” I explained that that’s not the same thing she shrugged. After years of feeling rushed and dismissed this was my final straw. We’ve switched to Dr. Replenski and ne

The only reason they are getting 1 star is because they have the sick side an well side separated. I took my autistic son in for his appt. I will not take him back there again, I told them please poke his toe not his finger for his iron level because he will freak out and have a meltdown which took an hour to calm him down. They did not listen when it come to explaining his medical conditions, or his meltdowns. I have already requested medical record transfer to somewhere else. Dr. Fam intimidated my son and I dont allow that at all. I dont like that he was staring me up an down.... I dont appreciate unprofessional drs. I will be rescheduling my daughter's appt as well. Your lucky you even got one star.....

HAPPY TO NEVER RETURN HERE!! For no reasoning nor explanation, Kristin E. Moore denied writing a mask exemption letter for my non-verbal autistic 7yr old son during the pandemic so he could travel internationally to visit his family. He would literally go into hysterics and choking sounds when trying to put a mask on him due to the sensitivity of his severe autism. Fortunately, I have a MD friend that was happy to write the letter which helped tremendously allowing my son to go through airport security and travel on the airplanes with no questions. Also, this practice tried forcing my autistic son to take 6 different vaccines, and they were not able to explain what substances are in these shots they were wanting to put into my son's system. They just "blindly" believe what they are progra
