My experience at Graduate Post Acute Care has been ok. I have been treated fair. Some staff are excellent, while others aren't. I do like that the doctors actually come check on you. The rooms are clean, so I will say that. I'm a younger resident here, so I do feel food portion isn't enough and I understand all nursing homes are different, but may make you pay for ginger ale if you want one. Maybe I would have had money if my other nursing home in was at didn't steal $1,000 worth of my belongings. I guess that's why MPAC closed up. 😢 I pray I have a better experience here at Graduate. I can't give a full review of the place, since I just came here in late December. So I will update in a few months
My husband and I have had an extremely positive experience with this nursing home, and most importantly, my mother truly loves it here. From the very beginning, the nursing staff has been kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They treat my mother with respect and compassion, which gives us great peace of mind. The physical therapy staff deserves special recognition. They are absolutely wonderful and have played a huge role in helping my mother regain strength and confidence. Because of their dedication and encouragement, she has become more independent, which has made such a meaningful difference in her quality of life. It’s clear that everyone here truly cares about the residents, not just as patients, but as people. If you are looking for a place for a loved one where they will be treat
The Graduate Post-Acute is not a luxury facility, but it is comfortable, and the atmosphere feels humane rather than institutional. It’s not Gordon Ramsay—but the food is improving, and staff are genuinely happy to take individual preferences into account. Housekeeping is taken seriously. If you or your room need attention, it’s handled promptly and without fuss, which makes a real difference in day-to-day comfort. The real strength here is rehabilitation. The therapists focus on improving physical well-being, and that almost always leads to improved emotional well-being as patients regain confidence. I am a long-term resident with a neurological disease that is not expected to improve, yet I walk much better now and feel far more confident moving through the world and doing things that
My 97 year old mother stayed here for over 5 weeks and received exception care. The staff is excellent. The nurse’s especially Elida and Ivy. My mother called Sameer, a CNA, her guardian angel. Her PT, Hannah and OT, Maddy were kind, persistent and encouraging. The agency that comes in to do lab draws is the best we’ve ever experienced and mother is very hard draw and they got it the first time. The staff they have is excellent, although sometimes a bit short staffed and over worked. I was there much of time and able to help out with certain tasks. My mother was in a different rehab in center city several weeks earlier and received much better care here. In addition, they are in the middle of remodeling. So as we leave, it looks much more updated. My mother had a private room on the 5t
NEGATIVE STARS, IF IT WERE POSSIBLE... DON'T, JUST DON'T This place should be shutdown. I was here for two and a half weeks. I have never been at a worse facility. They're severely understaffed and have too many staff members who choose not to work. There are a few, diamonds in the rough, staff members who really care about the patients and go above and beyond to help the patients. It is ridiculous how bad and lacking the care is here. The rooms don't even have linens in the rooms. They're currently renovating so the linens are kept outside the rooms on giant carts (supposedly to keep them from getting paint dust on them). You're better off wiping your bottom with sandpaper as the linens are so stiff They're abrasive and stained so badly they should be put in the trash. I was one of the fe
