Golden LivingCenter - Portsmouth

My mother is briefly here and the place is horrible. There are a few of the staff that actually show care and concern for our elderly family members but he majority are just doing the routine. Many curse around and at patients, do not respond when assistance is requested or it will take hours to follow up on request for assistance. Just a horrible place in my opinion and I’m sorry for all that have to stay in the assisted living part of the facility. The city should close this place down or make the owners straighten it up. There is no way the place meets health standard..... Also - why is there no website or owner information posted?

this place is very poorly managed, and some of the nursing staff is not meant to take care of pets let alone people. I would not even let my enemy live there.

Please note that Golden Living Center is no longer in business. The facility is under new ownership and is operated as Portsmouth Health and Rehab.

My poor grandmother got a bed sore from this place they neglect everybody there and now my grandfather is there I hope he can survive in this dump :-[

I don't even know where to begin... I can't think of a single good thing to say about this place. I feel sorry for the people that are there. I pray for them often.
