Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Awful administration experience. I have been sending in paperwork for a family member since April of 2025. Only thing we had outstanding was the bank statements for 5 yrs-by the time we got them-they said paperwork out dated — I resent to Golden Hill — NO ANSWER FOR WEEKS — Phone call today - not friendly and says you only sent in about a paragraph? Listen - other facilities received the same EXACT PAPERWORK and they have no issues — except Golden Hill. We recently had another family member in there and they left him for hours at a time — waiting for a transfer to use the bathroom facilities— Don’t bring your family here. Never enough staff and the owners put so much stress on their workers — Find another option - This isn't an option!!

Don't know where all the good reviews came from, maybe back when people cared. This place left my mother at the end of the hall and basically threw her food 3 times a day. She was not cared for, didn't even give her a shower after being in the hospital for 10 days without one! She has dementia, and we ended up having her discharged because they were leaving her alone and she was very confused. They also never called in medications after she was released. Don't even deserve one star, do better for the elderly!

A full HIPAA violation happened today as I came in to visit my family member. I hearda woman who seemed to work there talking to a patient about not having anywhere to go after he is discharged. She told him he was workers comp and she had no control over the situation. I heard more as I walked by, as a family member I shouldnt be walking past the front desk and hearing all of this, it is a HIPAA violation as they were right in front of the entrance and she was talking loudly.

I cannot say enough good things about the Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with kindness, professionalism, and a true commitment to patient care. The staff, from the nurses and therapists to the administrative team, went above and beyond to ensure my grandfather received the best possible care. The rehabilitation services were outstanding. The therapists were patient, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping residents regain their strength and independence. The nursing team was always attentive, ensuring that all medical needs were met with compassion and efficiency. The facility itself was clean, well-maintained, and created a welcoming environment for both residents and visitors. The cafe really stood out, was

My great grand mother of blessed memory spent her last 5 years at Golden Hill. The staff treated her like the Queen she is. Now that she is in a better place we all will miss visiting her seeing the smiles on the staff the warm environment and well managed facility. Our family couldn't be happier with our choice of adding Golden Hill to our family. Thank You everyone who made the last 5 years of Grandmas life so amazing and happy.
