Goldberg Dental of Valley Stream

Went today with my nephew who is 19. The front desk / receptionist was very nice. Wait time wasn’t too bad. He end up seeing Dr. Modoguno, who I must say didn’t seem very knowledgeable at all. She was questioning her own examination, looking in his mouth and asking us for confirmation- yet she’s the Dr. and had the x-rays on hand. She stated there was only one cavity-when I pointed to other visible ones ( confirmed yet by another dentist) she stated those were stains, that can’t be removed with a cleaning - only by drilling ?????🙄 I’m still so confused by this statement ... We definitely won’t be returning- and I do NOT recommend seeing this female Dr.

Ms. Rose is an excellent office manager and handled all the clients over the phone and in person with exceptional patience and empathy. I had to be seen right away for an emergency and without hesitation, Ms. Rose took good care of me. It didn’t stop there, Dr. Em had extraordinary bedside manners while I was in the dental chair. She has a lot of experience in the field and her work reflects that! I will definitely be going to Goldberg dental because of these two extraordinary human beings! Thank you!

I had an appointment for 12:30, arrived at 12:20. Didn’t get called in till 2:30. I do not recommend this place unless you have nothing to do with your time.

If I could give no stars I would. One receptionist seems to be nice but the other is unbelievably rude and useless and has been since the day I first went. The other staff is nice and my dentist was too. I called for 2 weeks no call back and no answer not I have a throat infection and insane nerve pain. I wouldn’t recommend them on my worst day. I always have to advocate for myself it’s unbelievable.

Great customer service, Dr. Goldberg is excellent. I hate going to the dentist but his approach may it easier. He is very detailed. The dental hygienists are great. The front desk staffs always ready to assist me.
