Gold Crest Care Center

It is my pleasure to write this review for Gold Crest Care Center an exceptional nursing rehabilitation center. The staff is so friendly. The place is so clean. So welcoming from the time you enter the building with the receptionist Shameena. CNA Carmen Lawrence exceeds expectations. She's extremely compassionate and caring with her patients taking her title and responsibilities to heart. I've been here a few times to visit a friend and it has been a pleasurable experience to see her respectful and loving manners with patients and relatives. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I would recommend this facility as a 5 star.

I want to take a moment to share my appreciation for the care my mom received at Gold Crest, particularly from several staff members who truly went above and beyond. A very special shout-out to Carmen, one of the CNAs, who truly stood out. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care did not go unnoticed, and she treated my relative with dignity and compassion, which meant so much to our family. Some of the CNAs were also wonderful and consistently helpful, and some of the nurses were attentive, responsive, and reassuring throughout her stay. I’d also like to recognize the physical therapy team. Thanks to their hard work, my mom improved significantly. I initially chose a different neighboring facility for my mom. It was a horrible experience. In my desperation, I walked over to Gold Crest in tears. I was heartbroken after seeing my mom somewhere that didn’t feel right for her. Shameena, the lead receptionist, saw me and immediately comforted me. I remember thinking she might think I was crazy, but she welcomed me kindly and said “There is always a solution, my dear. Please have a seat”. To my surprise, she called the Administrator, and within minutes Charley came to the lobby herself. At the other facility, I had been trying to speak to the administrator for days. She took the time to listen to me, gave me a tour, and introduced me to Jessica from Admissions. I felt heard and understood. The very next day, I transferred my mom. My mo

My mom was at Gold Crest for 7 months while she recovered. All the staff took very good care of her. Suzette; director of social work was so nice and help us all the time. Charley; Administrator, was very kind and humble. She speaks Spanish and always help us, even talking with the insurance so my mom can get what she needed to go home. That was her last wish. The place is beautiful and always very clean. Everyone at Gold Crest treat my mom with love and respect. I will never forget what they did for her.

I was a patient here for over two weeks for rehab. My experience wasn’t what I expected from viewing the website. The food needs was awful at first but got better as I complain. I was on the 2nd floor for Rehab the Supervisor Nurse that came doing the a.m. shift through the week was very difficult to deal with she had a very disrespectful attitude and wasn’t approachable very hard to speak with.There were CNA’S that would come on their 3 til 11p.m shift during the week that had nasty attitude that will leave poop pampers from my roommate in the trash can in my room after changing her , they would not introduce themselves once they come on shift , I will see them when it’s dinner time and that’s at 5 o’clock they would walk drop my dinner and wouldn’t even say hello.
