Had an emergency, and thought this place was decent for a try. It was ok,although I scheduled an appointment it didn't help. I was attended almost 45 min later. For whatever reason someone who got there after me,went before me. It was busy for a Sunday day. The dentist came in and checked and within 4 min decided what was wrong. Afterwards I was quoted for what I needed, which was going to ve over 1000. They did lots of xrays. I wasn't charged for being seen,so that was good.

Scheduling an appointment for a broken crown was seamless, and I was grateful to be seen the same day. Despite a very busy office, Dr. B. Nguyen was attentive, professional, and thorough. I have significant dental anxiety stemming from difficult childhood experiences, and both the doctor and staff were exceptionally understanding and patient throughout my visit. Dr. Nguyen took the time to explain the procedure, provided reassurance, and delivered excellent clinical care. At my follow-up appointment, he carefully evaluated my healing and confirmed that everything was progressing as expected. All the staff at Gold Coast Dental in La Habra are extremely kind. I’m so happy I found this Dental office. Dr Amro is very gentle and kind. He made my son feel comfortable. I appreciate the warmth from everyone and how comfortable they make you feel. If anyone is trying to find a Dental Office I would highly recommend this Dental office. Unnecessary X-ray & Refusal of Routine Care - Pushed Expensive Deep Cleaning ​"I visited Gold Coast Dental a month ago for a routine check-up and cleaning without any dental complaint. My experience involved two key issues that deviate from the standard of patient care. Upon arrival, the staff took a Panoramic X-ray (full-mouth scan) without any prior clinical examination or explanation of necessity. When I questioned this, the justification provided was vague. Diagnostic X-rays should only be taken when clinically indicated, and I felt this procedure was unnecessary and wasteful. ​Furthermore, the dentist, refused to perform the routine dental cleaning (prophylaxis) that I requested and that is covered by my insurance. Instead, I was immediately told I needed an expensive 'deep cleaning'

Came in because my wife works there and she confirmed with the manager before I came in that I can get same day treatment for my existing crown. They charged me for crown prep work , a cap (crown) and a retreatment of a root canal but they didn’t even touch my crown all they did was a deep cleaning and they didn’t even clean around the crown. I’m expecting a refund and they lost a client. They numbed my mouth and my ear popped with how deep they went. I was so numb I couldnt even talk, I was drooling after a few hours after the procedure … 5 hours later my jaw hurts so bad I can hardly open my mouth to fit a straw in it. Highly recommend a different office
