Glen Echo Pharmacy

A bit of mixed bag. For common drugs it is very easy and they are quite good. For less common drugs or perhaps drugs that maybe only ship in bulk to pharmacies (therefore hard for a smaller pharmacy like this), I've run into the same experience as other reviewers where they over promise what they can get and the timing, kind of string you along, and ultimately under deliver. Had to transfer a script and a bit of a hassle with delays, and wish they had been more forthcoming and communicative.

Glen Echo Pharmacy is owned by a very caring and compassionate man, Ron Sinker.This pharmacy and Ron give old fashioned, very personal and individual service. Ron and his warm and professional staff know each patient. He knows their particular needs and caters to each client. I have never heard the word no when I have had a request. Delivery is always prompt and accurate. There is also other wonderful merchandise. Make up,lotions and potions. When I purchased a humidifier, the delivery was last minute and around 10pm.The lady who delivered it came in and set it up for me. I cannot recommend this Pharmacy and staff highly enough.

Recommend for your prescriptions. I recently switched to Glen Echo pharmacy for my prescriptions and it is SUCH a better experience and easier than CVS or Safeway. My co pays are the same, and I get to speak to real people - who are nice- and I DON’T wait in line for 30 minutes to be told that my rx wasn’t filled and to go to the other window (to wait another 15 minutes) to tell that person my problem who says to call my doctors office.

Glen Echo Pharmacy is the epitome of shopping local. The customer service is top notch. They know who I am and what prescriptions my family takes. Parking is simple and I've never waited in a line with more than one other customer. Basically, the opposite of CVS.

We're fortunate to have this pharmacy in our neighborhood. Ron and his staff are always friendly and helpful. We are disabled and Ron has personally delivered prescriptions to our home. He's also a notary which has come in handy on several occasions. Thank you Ron and staff for all that your do.
