Gina Sclafani, OD

Dr Sclafani is very personable. She cares very much about her patients. She is an excellent optometrist. Her staff is wonderful.

I was in the office the day the girl who posted the “1 star” review was there. Dr. Sclafani asked her to watch her young son because he was going to get hurt. He was running all over the eye glass part of the store. She had no control of him and she was looking for glasses, but her expectation was that the office staff was supposed to control him. When Dr. Sclafani walked out of her office with me, she said “oh please be careful, I would hate for him to get hurt”. The mother went erratic and said “give me my money back and thanks for embarrassing me. The least the woman behind the desk could’ve done was watch him like she said she would”. I've been seeing Gina for the past 15 years. She is very thorough and will make sure your eyes are healthy. Great selection of lenses and glasses. Everyone in the practice is courteous, friendly and professional. Nice to have a local family-run business closeby.

Horrible office. Rude doctor. I was there the day a woman with a child was told 3 times by the woman behind the desk would watch her child the mom said no 3 times then her son went behind the desk. The doctor began to scream at the mother about the child. Unaware her staff had INSISTED they would watch him for 5 minutes. I will never be back again.

I have been going to Dr. Sclafani for 20yrs and she is the best! She is kind, caring, and considerate. Dr. Sclafani is professional and flexible. Her office staff is great as well!
