Gibson General Hospital: Emergency Room

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My wife passed out at work after being at the hospital the day before so I rushed her back and they are a joke. They are rude as hell. When we walked in my wife could barely talk or walk and I tried telling them what was going on and they literally shooed me and told her to speak if she needs to be seen. This place is run terrible and by terrible people. Every time we come here it’s a joke. Last time I had the flu I ended up here they took my blood didn’t test it and never gave me fluids. Gave me a sprite and said when I finish it I could leave. I hadn’t eaten for three days couldn’t hold anything down and I was running a fever. And on top of it that charged for the blood testing and came back and said everything looked good blood cell count wise. I n

I didn't even receive help . Even tho I live 10 minutes away . Play you like a joke when you need an ambulance and my experience was horrible

The worst treatment anyone could receive. The nurse told my husband to shut up when he tried to help me explain details of my injury after blunt force trauma to the head and the Dr. treated us like we had no idea what we were talking about. Unless you have no choice but to go to this hospital I insist you avoid it if you want accurate treatment.

Pretty much saved my life Saturday. Transferred me to Evansville for emergency MRI’s and admitted me, I thought it was dramatic at first and now having emergency surgery tomorrow. I have always had a good experience with their er but if it wasn’t for them I could have ended up paralyzed.

Worse bedside manner I have ever seen from the Doc and Nurse. Not worth my time or money. Don’t recommend for anytime. Vincennes Hospital is way better
