Giant Pharmacy

Always swift with filling medications. If they do not have it in stock or there is an issue with the insurance they let you know right away. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

The pharmacy at Giant is awesome. We transferred a lot of things from the CVS in Severn after they would consistently take 30 minutes or more, even when they called and said things were ready for pickup. The Giant pharmacy is very accommodating. One prescription we have is over $300 for the brand name WITH INSURANCE! Instead we get the generic through goodrx which requires more steps on their part but brings the price to under $100. Instead of getting snippy that they have to do more work, they gladly run it through and totally understand when I explain the situation. The hours are also great. Many times I'll go in later in the evening and will walk right up to the counter. Keep doing what you're doing Giant pharmacy!

Awful service! Walked in and dropped off prescription. Was told 20 minutes so I went shopping, instead of home. Came back 25 minutes later and was told their systems were down and it's taking longer. Several others being told the same thing. Over heard one person say they say that every time. The counter lady was very apologetic, then proceeded to tell a customer how incompetent the other employees were. After another hour, I got irritated and left. 10 minutes after leaving, I was called asking where I was, it was ready. I go back and have 5 people waiting in front of me. I noticed that to myself and the 3 white women, she was again her pleasant and apologetic self, but kind of rude and abrupt to the 2 black people waiting, and actually got someone else to help them.... kinda odd. I love my neighborhood Giant’s store location. My shopping experience is always great. The employees are very friendly and make you feel that you are a valued customer. But this goes beyond just shopping. I inadvertently lost my eyeglasses while checking out. When I got into my car, I realized I didn’t have them. After putting my groceries away, I walked back into the store to check with the cashier. However, she was no longer there. Another employee, Nijah, approached me to see if I needed assistance. When I explained that I had just checked out and realized I didn’t have my eyeglasses, she immediately offered to help. She asked one of the cashiers whether a pair of eyeglasses had been turned into her. After getting a no response, she didn’t give up and just say, “I’m sorry.” Once I tol
