Giant Pharmacy

After seeing a number of negative reviews I wasn't expecting much. However, the pharmacist and the young woman working the cashier went above and beyond to help fill my prescription. I had some issue with my insurance and the girl at the cash register took the effort to and put all my information, and when we still had difficulties the pharmacist came out and tried to assist, provided very valuable information to help get the insurance added to my prescription, ended up saving me $400. Definitely this is a very good pharmacy with plenty of staff that are knowledgeable and attentive to customers. Don't believe the reviews who got irritated because they couldn't buy over the counter medication at the pharmacy 😂

They have straight-up refused to fill prescriptions if anything requested is over the counter one too many times. At this pharmacy, the pharmacist will just hand the prescription back to you with the letters OTC written on top. I have never visited another pharmacy that does this. What’s more, when I objected to this practice, the head Pharmacist on duty on July 17 scoffed audibly at me and said it would take two days to order one of the “OTC” prescriptions and that the other was no longer in production. That’s fair enough on the second one, but considering that I had arrived two days after she had received the prescriptions in the first place, she should have placed the order and/or asked if I would like to purchase it once available straight away rather than refusing to acquire the medi

I have always had good interactions with this pharmacy, but today was very different. I got my wisdom teeth out at 8am and left the office around 9:30am. My husband went to pick up the pain medications at 10am and they didn’t have them. We called the doctor to make sure they sent the script, and they confirmed it had gone through a while ago and said to check back with the pharmacy. My mouth started to hurt, so my husband went back at 11:30am to pick them up, and they told him it would take 30-45 minutes to fill. They didn’t give any explanation as to why it hadn’t been filled yet. He told them I was in pain and needed the meds, and he waited there for 30 more minutes until they filled them to give them to me. From when we confirmed they were sent by the doctor, to receiving the medication

Wish I had read this reviews before coming to this pharmacy, I had made multiple trips to this pharmacy the service has not been the best . I figured I give them another chance I requested my refill the night before they said it was going to be ready . I even came in 30 minutes later than set time just to have to wait because it was not ready. 1 hour later I finally got my medicine, forget about getting an apology for making me wait , n making me late for work . Time to transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy..
