Giant Pharmacy

Giant pharmacy is a good pharmacy. Everyone is helpful. All places get busy sometimes. Call ahead and make sure your medicine is ready and you won't have any problems.

I give up. Giant is officially the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had the misery of dealing with. Not one time have I dealt with this place when there wasn’t at least one problem. (I mean, how many large companies let their entire data system go down for an entire day, crippling all their customers’ ability to access their medications?) They are slow to fill prescriptions, I get notifications for refills that aren’t ready, and the mobile app is utter garbage. Today I tried paying in advance in hopes of picking up curbside, but the app tells me my card is invalid - the same card I’ve always used there, and I verified all info was entered correctly. It is all just too much incompetence to put up with.

Giant Pharmacy at Riva is pretty bad. They're always slow. At the slightest hiccup they just stop and don't tell anyone. The website that is supposed to show status is consistently wrong. Refills show ready when not started. Refills don't show up when they are ready. Telephone calls go unanswered - just ring and ring and ring. I'm very unhappy with Giant Pharmacy.

This is a horrible pharmacy to do business with. The wait times are way longer than average, and their operations are a complete mess. Their head pharmacist is a very bad communicator as well. She changed her story of why I couldn't receive my medication 3 times and came across as very rude. I know my experience was not a one off as multiple doctors have shared that they are rude and extremely hard to work with. Save your self the stress and go to Patient Care Pharmacy across the street where they are pleasant, efficient, and actually care about their patients.

Pro: Very nice people. Cons: prescription almost never ready even days after prescribed- have to wait then get in line again. Drug often not in stock and needs to be ordered- this can take days. Line usually long with one person handling sometimes complicated issues of each customer.
