Giant Pharmacy

Frequent stock and dosing issues, rude pharmacy techs, an uncommunicative pharmacist whose reluctant counseling is not private (she will shout from behind the counter), issues with using copay cards that CVS takes -- and they are horribly slow just like their app. The only thing they're fast at is ringing up prescriptions without giving you a chance to see them first, which always gets on my nerves. I have used this location because it's convenient to bundle with other errands in Kingstowne, but man, I have wasted so much time and effort here. Use at your own risk.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. On Friday, they called and told me my prescription was ready for pickup, but when I arrived, they said they didn’t have my order. It was Saturday, and my doctor’s office was closed, so I had to go the entire weekend without taking an important medication because of their mistake. I spoke with the manager, but no one seemed to care or take responsibility. I will never use Giant Pharmacy again.

This pharmacy has always been helpful to me when I need a prescription filled. I moved from another nearby pharmacy which went downhill. The Giant Kingstowne Pharmacy has professional, very competent pharmacists and the staff is attentive; the entire operation is professional with high standards.

The Kingstowne Giant Pharmacy has exceeded our expectations! Penny should be the Pharmacy Manager! She knows her medications and goes above and beyond for her clients! Giant - please listen - you DO NOT want to lose Penny!

There's always a problem. They're always out of medication. They once gave my dad the wrong medication and got mad at him for taking it as instructed on the label. Yesterday I came to get my dad's prescription and they said they're out, come back tomorrow. I came back today and they said the doctor canceled the prescription. My dad called the doctor and they said they did not cancel it, so I went back and told the pharmacist and they looked again and said it wasn't this prescription they canceled, but the one I picked up almost a month ago because they're switching it to a new medication, but i can't pick the new one up for 4 more days. I couldn't tell you how many times I've had to make 2 or 3 trips to this pharmacy to pick up 1 prescription. Update: I came back a day after the prescrip
