Giant Leaps Occupational Therapy

We had a wonderful experience at Great Leaps. My son (7 yrs) is very timid and was nervous to start. Kayleigh’s approach was very warm and sensitive and made him feel comfortable right away. He was always happy to come back each week and looked forward to it. OT at Great Leaps increased his strength and confidence and we are so happy to have used them!

My son started at Giant Leaps in January of 2025 after struggling for 6 years to get him the support he needed. When we first met Mrs. Kayleigh my son gave her such a hard time constantly fighting her, giving up immediately, saying he “hated” this place. Mrs. Kayleigh was always amazing and calm and reassured me that it was okay not to beat myself up and that things would change. Fast forward to almost a year later! My son just yesterday while leaving giant leaps made a comment saying how much he loves Mrs. Kayleigh and how she’s always encouraging him and how proud of him she is and how much he loves giant leaps. Mrs. Kayleigh has worked so incredibly hard to help my son gain so much confidence and strength it’s been amazing. My son can now climb the cheese board, use the zip line, put on

Giant Leaps has been such a game-changer for both of my kids. Alexis has done wonders with my daughter — before starting OT, she would only wear one shirt from her closet and refused socks. Now she not only wears socks, but picks from a variety of clothes without a fight. My son also goes and has been doing so well. My kids really look forward to their sessions because they’re not only helpful, but fun too. I truly can’t say enough good things about Giant Leaps and if you are looking for an OT for you child, I can’t recommend them enough!!

The gains my child has made since beginning at Giant Leaps is nothing short of amazing. After many years of trying to identify his specific areas of weaknesses and working with other facilities, therapists, and school-based programs, we have finally found a home at Giant Leaps. At Giant Leaps your child will receive a therapeutic program that is individualized to his/her needs, in a motivating, engaging and FUN way! Ironically, they are located next-door to Bounce and at a recent birthday party at Bounce, my son stated that he wished he was next-door at therapy because it is way more fun.
