Giant Eagle Pharmacy

John the pharmacy tech was very rude to me when I was trying to transfer my medications to them from Walgreens. He never made eye contact and never smiled. Was very rude and abrupt so apparently they don’t want my business. I called the pharmacy two days ago and I still can’t get into the APP and waiting on notification about my prescription. If this persists then I will have to change pharmacies once again.

Came in for a flu shot at 7:00p when they closed at 8:00p. They said it was too close to closing time for a shot. An hour before close was “too close”… they weren’t very nice either and honestly just seemed annoyed they had to actually administer a shot. Very unpleasant experience and I will not be getting my shots or any medications from here again with how rude they were.

I changed pharmacies a couple years ago because Giant Eagle Pharmacy in general, as a whole were more expensive. I had an antibiotic prescription for eyedrops sent there because it is by my house and with pink eye and eye ulcer it’s hard to drive. I went after 3 hours to pick it up only to be told they were out and getting more in at 3 pm the following day. None of the staff members were helpful. In fact, they were rude about it too. If a Giant Eagle pharmacy is out of whatever you need to heal, you have to call around other Giant Eagle pharmacies looking for it. But it took 4 staff members later to tell me that. This morning my eye is in so much pain and I can barely keep it open. If it falls out, I’m grabbing a cupcake from the bakery, slamming down the cupcake on the pharmacy counter

I've never had a bad experience. They do a fairly good job of making things smooth. They do have a bad habit, from the customers perspective, where they always seem to send away to their overnight / overflow filler and the following day they give you a different white and clear bag, even though they've always had whatever it is in stock at the store.

Very bad. Yes, they have a drive-through. But once they get your phone number all they do is telemarket and harass you. Even after you tell them to stop. Your medical and pharmaceutical doings are supposed to be private. I moved my pharmaceutical needs to Walmart and I am no longer harassed with spam phone calls. Walmart even delivers the prescriptions to me for free.
