I had an office appointment and was waiting for a cardiologist approval due to my prescription blood thinner. I was told GI Spec would contact me after the approval was received. The cardiologist sent a message they have approved me for the procedure. I waited for the GI office to contact me to set up the colonoscopy. No contact from GI Spec. So I made an appointment online for a colonoscopy after a week. Received email confirmation of the appointment, did my prep. Checked in for my procedure and found out I was not on the schedule. The appointment I had made was for another office appointment. The staff jumped into action, did their best and was able to accommodate me and perform the procedure. The entire staff is exceptional and Dr.Priti Pandya is caring, compassionate and explains everything and takes time to listen to your concerns and questions. She doesn't rush you out either. I’ve had a couple of procedures at G.I. Specialist of Georgia. The staff starting with the people at the front desk are very friendly, they smile and are attentive to what you are saying. The room where you wait has adequate light where you can read on your device or in a magazine. Once you’re called and walked to your cubby for your procedure, everyone there is very pleasant, their names are on a board where you can see it and they make you feel very comfortable. I will say waking up from their anesthesia is amazing, you don’t even know you had it, I experienced no headaches at all, which is wonderful! Dr. Pandya, is amazing! She is caring, knowledgeable and has excellent doctor to patient manners! I wholeheartedly, recommend G.I. Specialist of Georgia.

The check in staff and scheduler were very helpful. My nurse got me in to see the doctor right on schedule. She was very nice and attentive. Dr. Priti Pandya was also very kind and explained everything to me, from my lab results, imaging results to plan of care. I am very grateful and happy with my experience with them.
