Gerbes Pharmacy

The pharmacist here is absolutely excellent. Walgreens let me down and showed me that they did not care if I was their customer they would not transfer a prescription and get it filled for me and we’re absolutely awful to me. I was in an emergency situation and I called Gerbes and the pharmacist had the most wonderful attitude. She was so compassionate and so wonderful and she was able to call Walgreens and get my prescription transferred over to Gerbes and within 45 minutes I had my medication in my hands after Walgreens refused to refill it for me. I cannot say enough, good things about the pharmacist at Gerbes truly, just a wonderful person!!

They will give you the wrong script and act like it's your fault. Beware they are switching meds to make a profit.

I have been going to gerbes pharmacy for 15+ years and never had an issue until now. The last couple times I've went to pick up medication I've been charged. When I know I shouldn't be. Well today I went to pick up my daughters meds and was charged again. I asked Bryton why I was being charged and I know if my insurance doesn't cover the meds, they can look for a medication my Insurance does cover. He told me I wasn't correct and that I, myself would have to call the doctor and they would have to find a medication my insurance covered. I called my doctor and found out that was incorrect information. I have never had a prescription filled before I get there, I always am told it'll be ready in 30 minutes every time. Even if I wait for a few hours to give them time to finish getting it ready they still never start it before I get there. Personally I don't think it's a great idea to tell someone who feels sick with a lung infection to wander the store for a half an hour but it is what it is.
