I cannot say enough about Dr. Rutland and his staff. I was assigned him during an ER visit. He saved my life and I had several follow up surgeries. He is very kind and knowledgeable. The kind part is rare these days. His staff with Corrie his NP and the scheduler Ally were just great. Most of work was done in the ER, but the last surgeries were minimal and done on site in Roswell. The staff were great and I never had one issue. Everything is laid out properly as far as visits and medications. All questions were always answered within 24 hours if I reached out on their patient portal. If you ever need anything done I wouldn’t hesitate to use him.
Our pediatric appointment was canceled without any notice. No call, no email, no message. We only realized something was wrong because the usual online check-in and reminder never came through, so I called to find out what happened. Getting through to an actual human being was a complete nightmare. Endless automated menus, zero clarity, and no urgency whatsoever. After finally reaching someone, I was casually told that the doctor (Dr. Hal) retired in December. December. And no one thought to inform patients with scheduled appointments? That alone is wildly unprofessional. I agreed to book with another doctor, but the appointment the representative supposedly scheduled never actually went through. So now I am back on the phone again, stuck listening to a ridiculous loop of advertisements ab
I After 1-2 Years of working with this facility, as well as with Dr. Harry Rutland, and after pleading with them to work with me and my family, I myself along with many other doctors have to say, this is one of the worst medical practices I have ever seen in my life, both in the customer service, the operations, and the operators. What was at first simply just a kidney stone removal, ended up costing me almost my life, horrendous finances, and a condition that may never return to normal. This doctor, and this team, have devastated me and my health. 2 Failed attempts to remove a kidney stone, with laser, and standard operations. The scarring and damage my kidney has suffered, has spiraled my life and health into hell. My kidney function is medically considered failing, and no other surgery
I defiantly not recommend that place. DON'T GO THERE! I went to the Roswell location and was seeing by nurse Banks on my 2nd visit ( I choose a Doctor not a nurse) and she order a lab that was send to a lab that was not on the network of my issuance without my knowledge and I ending with a bill while they could sed it to a lab that is in network. They are so irresponsable with it. Also, if they say that you will have to do a procedure and after that if wasn't enough than you will do another don't believe (specially with nurse Banks) because they would do both at the same time and you only will know last minute. They say they are one of the best in the area ( that could be true ) but I wouldn't trust Nurse Banks for anything. Now Im fighting to see if I can received the money back for my l
Update: They reached out to my husband and said they would no longer be providing care for my husband and advised us to find another urology group. - My husband had outpatient urology surgery here, and our experience was deeply concerning. Before the procedure, we noticed a serious issue: after his first visit, we checked the patient portal and found another patient's information listed under his account. When we spoke the office staff, they did not seem to take this matter seriously, which was disappointing. On the day of surgery, my husband was very anxious and asked the pre op nurse to place his IV in his forearm to minimize discomfort. She didn’t seem to understand. As his wife - not as a nurse - I explained to pre op Nurse Sonia (or Sonya) the requested placement of the IV in his fore
