Georgia Heart Institute

They were able to squeeze me in for a pre-op which I totally appreciated. Dr. Divoky's PRN was very kind and able to understand what was going on. The only problem was a bit of phone tag between doctors offices, but even that got figured out and the desk staff were just wonderful. Can't say enough good about Georgia Heart Institute. ❤️

I went here as a first time patient in May. I received a $200 bill this week from Labcorp because the billing departmemnt marked my test as Routine and Medicare denied the claim because Medicare does not pay for routine tests. The test was supposed to be marked as Non Routine. I called Georgia Heart today and it took forever to get to talk to someone that knew what I was talking about. They're going to look into this and let me know. If I have to pay this $200 bill I will NEVER go back to Georgia Heart ever. They simply don't know how to bill procedures. Getting someone of authority on the phone here is impossible! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT PROBLEMS.

I’m pleased to share my Awesome experience. Staff and doctor alike were very thorough with my care. I’m a new patient, everyone was very attentive and caring. Lots of questions asked to ensure all my concerns were addressed. Happy I found this facility.

When it comes to looking for a heart doctor, please don’t look any further. Dr. Stephen Prater is the best. He explains everything in detail, makes you are valuable and important. One of his nurse assistants by the name of Stella was rich in personality and was very professional. Thank you both for making my visit enjoyable.

My doctor took his time and listened to my concerns. I didn’t feel brushed off at all, I felt very validated through the whole experience. Everyone in the office was very kind.
