George M Ballantyne, MD at Georgia Bone & Joint

Awesome experience from beginning to end. Everyone there is friendly face-to-face and on the phone. Dr. Ballantyne is great, as well! He was very thorough, honest and comforting from my first appointment until my last follow-up. He did a fantastic job replacing my right knee and I’m looking forward to him doing the same with my left knee.

Very arrogant and lacks people skills. He had the audacity to tell me the injury I sustained has nothing to do with my current complaint and that I didn't complain about swelling or pain from the onset in that particular site. He even told me my complaint was not documented. However, his assistant was going through my medical and therapy records while he was going back and forth with me and showed him where my complaint was documented and that I'm receiving therapy for the swelling and pain in that area as well as other areas. Yeah, I got a forced apology. Next time read your patient's records thoroughly and with understanding. I would never go back to that office to be insulted again. The one star I gave him was needed in order to post--he hasn't earned 1/4 of a star.

Dr. Ballantyne was willing to do the knee replacement for my wife, and it has helped to make her into a new woman. She is so happy with the results. We thank Dr. Ballantyne and his staff for the much needed help in getting back to a good life, with new mobility.

Thank you Dr. Ballantyne and team for taking amazing care of me. This was my first time ever having surgery and I felt from the second I walked in the door I was in good hands. The nurse staff as amazing and caring and funny, the OR team had a sense of humor and made me feel like a valued patient and helped me to calm down with fantastic dad jokes (I was very nervous). I would highly recommend that should you ever need orthopedic care , seek out Dr. Ballantyne team. You are in very good hands!

My experience with Dr. Ballantyne was excellent!! Before surgery, I was limping and walking was very painful. Now I can walk with no knee pain and I have gone back to working out. I can do leg presses with over 600 pounds and ride the elliptical for 30 minutes pain free.
