Gentle Smile Designs; Dr. James Suh, DMD

I’ve been seeing Dr Suh since I was 12, so 13 years now. While he is a gentle and kind dentist, appointments always good and available, I’m EXTREMELY disappointed in his failure to inform me of my misaligned bite, that has caused years of tmj, unconscious clenching, nerve pain (his only solution being a night guard) Never once did Dr Suh recommend braces to space and stand up my teeth. (My top teeth bite down on the SIDE of my bottom teeth) I recall him asking me as a young teen if I was alright with the way my teeth LOOKED, but that’s it. My parents also confirm he never recommended braces. Now, at 25, with my orthodontic coverage ended, I have to deal with this, and the expense of it. Again, extremely disappointed in his failure to diagnose me.

Dr. Suh is the most gentle and caring dentist I've ever met. From cleanings to fillings to root canals, he made every experience painless and he created a very calming environment so that I wasn't nervous. I moved away from New Jersey for college and I would come back just for Dr. Suh.

Been a patient with Dr Suh for 20 years. He has provided excellent care, very knowledgeable and super nice. Totally passionate about providing care very good communication. Unlike my Doctor, the office good at managing patients. Office is clean and staff friendly. Any negative reviews have not been my experience. Took me in for a bad tooth ache yesterday on short notice, resolved problem in 20 minutes. Filling had fallen out. Matched cap on front teeth perfectly, my smile is Brighter than Ever. Highly Recommended.

I visited this office recently for a simple teeth cleaning and checkup. The service I experienced here was second to none. The office was clean and location was nice. Dr. Suh was honest, knowledgeable, and very thorough. The staff were all very polite and welcoming. In particular, there was a young woman that worked as a dental assistant there. She was extremely capable, polite and professional. I usually have my reservations about going to the dentist, but her presence alone calmed me to the point where I would go back every week if I could!

I have been going to Dr. Suh my entire life without any issues. Him and his staff are always kind and professional. They even made the process of swapping insurance carriers quick and painless!
