These sweet little nuggets, and their momma would not be alive if it was not for the Dr ( gentle friends) . Mom had a very stressful birth, one nugget was born….but after 6 hours of laboring, she just could not deliver the 2nd kitten. I called the doc, because I was worried. She immediately got us in, and discovered that the 2nd kitten was stuck. She swung into action, got momma a referral to another doc to do an emergency c-section. deliverer the 2nd kitten, now all 3 are safe and well❤️ It is such a beautiful blessing that we have her in this valley! I highly recommend ❤️

This is the best vet I've ever been to. My dog loves them, and loves going. They are always so kind and patient with me and my dog! Im updating my review, maybe years later.. As my dog aged, 13yr, this vet took the extra time to emotionally care for not only my dog, but me as well. Of course she treated her medically, but she never signed up to have to deal with me. The kindness I have experienced through the aging process of my best friend. My soul mate. The care, honesty, and integrity of this vet clinic is something I've never experienced. I trusted this vet with my best friends life. And would again. My dog passed today, 9/14/2025, and they held my hand through the whole process. Proverbialy. My parents have brought the family animals to Gentle Friends since before I can remember and now I bring my dogs to them. Marguerite is the greatest vet in the Roaring Fork Valley, she is sweet, caring and really knows what is talking about. My dogs LOVE going to the vet because they get to see Marguerite and Julie and it's more of a vacation for them then an actual vet visit. We brought our 11 year black lab to them when he needed to be put down. Marguerite let us hang out with him for as long as we needed even though the office was already closed. We were never rushed or felt pressured to get it over with. I absolutely adore Gentle Friends and will always go to them whenever my animals need help.
