Gentle Family Dentistry

I have been a patient here for over 10 years and have had the best service. My child started coming here as soon as he was old enough and every 6 months we get our cleaning! We love it here! I am really hoping they reopen at another location or recover from the fire.

We have gone here for over 20 years and it has always been a welcoming and clean environment from start to finish! They have always fit us in on last minute needs too! Friendly staff and very professional! Our kids always love going to the dentist which is a huge compliment!

I have been a client or perhaps it is better to say patient of Dr. Peter Wills for approximately 30 years. Howerver this past Thursday, I encountered an unpleasant situation with his so called "office manager." I was asked by the receptionist to fill out a medical form. I have never had to do this in their office before so I presume it is something new that the state requires. I came to the section that wanted to know what medications I was taking. I don't carry a list but would have provided same had they told me ahead that I would need it. I had called once to ask the time of my appoint to be certain I had it correctly recorded on my appointment calender. No mention of a new form was suggested to me. A week later, they called reminding me of the appointment. Again no mention was made reg

i gagged while getting my impression done and was asked if i was prone to gagging by the dental assistant and I said yes. i let her know sometimes i do cry while getting the numbing shots just because they hurt obviously. she looks me in the eyes and says “maybe you should find a dentist that can sedate you” and i’m thinking no I just paid $50, got my next appointment set up, already made it here today and need FOUR teeth worked on so please just do it! I couldn’t even get many words out. Mind you i’m already on edge because everything back there is a MESS! Also, the equipment and furniture back there all looks outdated and I guess you could say I was getting a sketchy vibe. Well, she then says we can give you anxiety medicine and have you take it before you come in next, we’ll reschedule

Over the years I've had no problems with this office. But my adult son went a couple of months ago. He has severe anxiety, depression & ADHD.They tell me he needs 2 crowns. So the temporary crowns are in, and they tell me he needs a root canal before the permanent ones can be put on. But they won't do it there because he needs sedated. After calling so many dentists. I went to 2 different ones. Both dentist told me it's literally like a 20 minute procedure. And it would take longer to sedate him than the actual root canal. So they both ask my son what he thought. The whole reason he moved @ so much and jumped for the gentle family dentist was all the noise in the drilling. It was too much in his head. Has nothing to do with pain.
