Gentle Dental Woodstock

This office was excellent. I got there early and waited less than 5 min. The assistant was very gentle with my X-rays and very knowledgeable. The Dentist Dr. Blakley was friendly and attentive. The hygienist Ana was also very nice and very knowledgeable as well. Very professional. Gave me different options and I felt very comfortable asking questions about my care. Thank you. You guys were amazing!!!

I’ve had a terrible experience for over a month now. I came in to establish care and cure a sore tooth. Billing staff ignored all emails trying to understand charges; when I came in to discuss in person, I left with the clear sense that this was about money. The upsells id asked to discuss weren’t discussed, and even though I said I wasn’t comfortable signing until I looked things over, she kept presenting a paper to sign until I did. It’s been a month, I had my second consultation appointment today and it was hundreds of dollars out of pocket. No work, just another consult and tests to confirm I actually need a root canal. I can’t afford their excessive costs so I had to decline—despite being insured and in network. I don’t feel cared for. I feel farmed and harvested. Dr Blakely was great

Apart from having to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time, everything was fine. The doctor and staff were all very knowledgeable and helpful. My first visit to a big box dentist, but pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to go back.

Dr Blakely is a delightful dentist to work with. Professional and personable. The entire office personnel match his demeanor. Highly recommend!!

the dental hygienist and the lead assistant were so so so so so lovely so please do not let this review reflect on them! unfortunately the main dentist was extremely cold, hardly introduced himself before relaying extremely harsh news. he is not the type of individual that should be a dentist as he didn’t come across caring at all. when i began crying because he was so rude, he said, “why am i always the bad guy?” it’s not the information you have that makes you a ‘bad guy,’ it’s how you make someone feel when you have to inevitably have to deliver bad news. i will not be going back to this office again as i do not feel comfortable with the dentist and would not recommend it to anyone.
