Gentle Dental Springfield

New patients are booking 10 months out which is my only negative. Was seen for an emergency quickly and was then fit in for follow up treatments the same week. My dentist was not overly warm but he was fast and gentle! My hygienists were all great as well.

Normally I would great but not this time. I didn't know it had become policy to confirm appointments or they get canceled. So I got put on another hygienist schedule. I know Heather probably spoils me a bit when she gets the coating for my lips (I have a clean split down the middle and it tends to break open) and I know im sensitive, but gosh Sandra was so aggressive! And fast and hard it was painful. My mouth was wrenched on so much and I ended with a slightly bloody lip. I get gas to help with the calming/pain factor but I know I didn't even get much of that. And then trying to schedule my exam and next cleaning? Its been a problem in the past and my dentist wasn't happy that the exam was scheduled before the next cleanning. I had to reschedule. I wanted to speak up cause I knew better

I’ve had VERY mixed experiences with Gentle Dental. On one occasion my experience with the manager of the Q street location, Kathrine, was so horrible I filed a formal complaint with the Main location as well as my insurance company. It took me months to go back in and I only did because I had no other options and an emergency. On that occasion the manager wasn’t present and my experience was Completely different. Everyone was nice, the service was great. I went back a month later for a root canal and they were able to do 2 fillings at the same time so I wouldn’t have to go back in. The work was done quickly, painlessly and very well. The dentist and the dental assistant were both very nice, professional and did their job well.

Fantastic! I have a huge fear of the dentist and usually have to take anti anxiety meds for it but Dr Hanson made me very comfortable and Dental Assistant Karen has amazing bedside manner. I really appreciate them for being so kind and communicating everything they were doing!

I've been going to them for years for my dental work. Kind staff who break things down comprensively and do their best to work with you! Honestly was scared of getting fillings from bad work in the past but they do honor their name of gentle. Even with cleanings I've learned a lot and had plenty of recommendations to help preserve some problem teeth I have. Great people I hope they can help you get back to smiling as well!
