Gentle Dental of West Chester

When I first went to Gentle Dental I scheduled an initial appointment, which I thought would include a cleaning but it did not. I was able schedule the initial appointment within weeks of calling. The initial appointment lasted about 15 minutes. It included X-rays and chat with the dentist. The dentist did not care what I had to say about my dental history, but rather wanted to boast about their accolades. After the initial appointment, I had to schedule a cleaning. Thinking how quick it was for me to get the initial appointment, that the cleaning could be scheduled within a few months. That was not what happened. I was scheduled for almost 10-months later. Great experience for my first visit. Dentist was very nice and addressed my concerns. I was provided information to prepare for my next appointment and what what portion would be covered from my insurance. Also o was able to get my next appointment scheduled quickly not having to wait weeks to get my teeth cleaned.

As someone who's terrified of dentists, I'm surprised at how reassuring and kind everyone is here. I was shaking in the waiting room, but was completely relaxed not 5 minutes into my checkup. The assistant took x-rays with the smaller sensor so I'd be more comfortable. The doc herself is amazing. Calm voice, straightforward information but no judgements. She showed me the x-rays so I could easily see what needed to be done. She even said I could split up the work so it wouldn't be as long at once and easier on my anxiety. She showed me what was most important to get done quickly so we can start there and see how it goes. I'm not nervous at all about going back for the fillings, I wish I found this place sooner. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences at this dental office. The receptionists are always welcoming and friendly, making check-in/check out smooth and stress-free. I’ve never had to wait long for my appointment, which is always a huge plus. The dental hygienists are thorough and gentle, taking the time to explain everything they’re doing and making sure I’m comfortable throughout my cleaning. As for the dentist, Dr. Valentine, she is great—professional, knowledgeable, and always make me feel at ease. I’ve been really impressed with the overall care and professionalism here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dental practice

Excellent dental care. I switched to this provider based on a patient recommendation and I’m so glad I did! The front desk is so helpful and friendly and on top of insurance. The hygienist and dentist are gentle (really live up to the name), so knowledgeable and created a strategic plan for my dental needs.
