Dear Mr. Yarrow, I wanted to send a note of appreciation to Gentiva for being there for our mom over the past two years. She passed away on Thursday at the age of 101. Over that time, there were probably 10–12 of your employees who provided some form of care for her. Your office manager, Hannah, was always helpful; Kathy called me every week to see if we needed anything; and Ms. Ruthie, Tamika, Lisa, John the minister—and really everyone—were so kind and supportive. In particular, Nurse Megan Potterfield became Mom’s special friend and advisor. She helped her through UTIs, fevers, flu, allergies, depression, and more. Megan handled everything—from arranging medical equipment to managing medications—and provided training for Mom’s other caregivers regarding her medications, diet, and exe

Words cannot express my complete gratitude for the great care given by Gentiva Hospice. The nurses, aids and entire staff gave my fiance their hearts, warmth and compassion. 100% personal attention to his care and comfort were outstanding. Anything he needed, anyone he needed was there for him. Thank you, Gentiva, for all you did for him. I highly recommend them!!

Gentiva Hospice in Myrtle Beach, SC has provided my family with the upmost care and support during a difficult time. Kelly Reighard is an excellent RN Nurse, who has a plethora of knowledge and experience in the field. They are caring and supportive for your family.

My husband received services in a skilled nursing facility and I was extremely pleased with each person I met from Gentiva that provided services along his journey. The first person I spoke to was Devin and after speaking with her, I knew this was the perfect group to help us. His nurse Nancy was a perfect match for his personality. Communication was good and I always felt I could reach out to them if I had a question or a problem.

We have been extremely happy with all of the staff and the care my mother has received from Gentiva. They first started caring for mom in her home and they have continued caring for her in the facility where she is now a resident. The staff is very gentle, loving and affectionate with mom. They are a phone call away if I need anything and I usually get a call from one of there nurses after she visits mom. That phone call is means a lot. They even have volunteers that come and visit my mom which I think is above and beyond. I cannot recommend them enough!
