Genoa Healthcare

They used to be great but their wait times are absolutely ridiculous anymore. My scripts used to be ready by the time I arrived after an appt but now 45-60 minutes if you are lucky and they won't even start filling your script until you physically come in and tell them you are there for ut. They have no method in place to let you know when your order is filled. I don't find sitting in my car for over an hour a good use of my time. I will be taking my business back to a big box store where they will start on my meds without me having to tell them I want my prescription filled.

Followed the directions and got to the building ok. But their's no sign saying Genoa to let you know what entrance to go in I had to stop a lady who was leaving and ask which door to go in. She showed me, and she also gave me her parking spot. The pharmacist was nice and professional. There are no other issues.

It is very annoying that they have no weekend hours and are closed for a half hour every day, right when people have their lunch break. That’s the only time I have to get meds sometimes because of my work schedule but I can’t even get them then. They do not care. Just get it staffed better. Please!

Came here initially bc my local CVS was a complete disaster for several months (& is still very hit-or-miss), literally closing their pharmacy for 4 days in a row bc they couldn't staff it (this is 2023, not the height of COVID). So, my nurse practitioner said she's always had great interactions with the local Genoa. I'd never heard of Genoa, but figured I'd give them a try, and wow! HUGE difference between Genoa and local CVS, Walgreens, etc. So much better! I've used them for a full year now and never waited more than 5 min. no matter what time of day I come. They are consistently polite, respectful, and compassionate, and genuinely interested in helping me. They remember my name, suggest options to make getting and taking my prescriptions easier and cheaper, and never seem judgemental
