My finance had a refillable prescription for antibiotic for an abscess tooth. Since the RN at Fayette County Jail would not listen to the numerous request by my finance, I asked what I needed to do to get him the medication he needed. The RN said to bring the prescription to the jail with his name on it. OKAY DONE! The RN then refused ti give him his medication, fully knowing this could possibly kill him by doing. The RN withheld the medication that a doctor who has many levels above her understanding prescribed. Regardless of her theory (she claims I went to a NY doctor, ) she is obligated to follow his orders and not doing so is neglect, cruel and unusual punishment, and she is now practicing above her scope of practice. Not to mention they completely took his 8th amendment right away
