Genesis Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center

They are nasty. They neglect their patients. Because of them my mother sat 2 days delirious from a SEVERE UTI. They thought it was okay they never carried out medical orders. When confronted they simply said we don't have to give you a explanation. They thought it was funny until they realized I was videoing it. They had the nerve to try and tell me I couldn't do that it was illegal. What about elder abuse and neglect that is a pretty serious crime there. I will be happy to back this up with documentation!!

If in anyway you can stop the UNC sending your oarent to this place! Please investigate. This place is a hell hole. I feel sorry for people that are placed there and have no other options. This place smells like urine. They put my mother in a room 201. With no running water. It even stated on the wall. She couldn't use her right arm due to breakage. The so called nurse on staff or should say cmts just gave her a wash cloth and towels and said her....this is for your bath. How the hell was she suppose to get out of bed and bath her self? When I was there, my mother needed to go to bathroom. I helped her on commode, wiped her butt. Then looked around and bathroom had no running water. I don't know who runs this place or if they are bringing payed off to government. But this place is an abs

Having a husband, grandmother, and great aunt all cared for by the loving and professional staff - I can state that I was very satisfied with the nursing car, activities, intermingling, volunteers who all assisted in making my family members stays better than if I had tried to keep them at home on my own. Katina Brewer was easy to work with in resolving financial issues and medicaid sorted out to assist with defraying the cost. I highly recommend the facility for your loved one.

I Pray In Jesus Name to protect all the patients at this facility I have a family member out there. They never put his clothes on he's always in the hospital gown...as I can see they never get him out of the bed and put him in a wheelchair to push him around. The bag is always full with urine. The facility smells awfully and roaches everywhere. Last but not least the staff that I have met is not friendly at all so I don't want to imagine how my family member and other patients there are treated. 🙏🙏🙏🙏PRAYING

My father stayed there few months back if not a year and transferring him to another facility was best option for us. This place smell horrible, bugs crawling all over the place and takes them hours to come to one call bell, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and if anybody has questions look up indecent with elder lady not to long ago.
