Great experience with my sick kiddo. We called ahead and were told come in shortly thereafter. The staff was courteous and empathetic to my son and our concerns. The nurses cared for him in an exceptional manner. They were polite and cognizant of how to work with a 3 year old sick child. The physician was prompt in seeing us and gave a thorough examination, helping us to arrive at a solution. No questions went unanswered. My son started feeling better the next day. Don’t listen to the other comments posted. I suspect those individuals were less than ideal patients to work with that expect every thing for nothing. Well done, Geisinger! The best local option for healthcare - especially pediatric emergencies.

This place is truly a blessing. My son came to the hospital today because he was experiencing faint-like symptoms. Nurse Jeremiah and the ER staff were very kind and showed great compassion while taking care of him. They helped us a lot during this difficult time.

Unfortunately, my recent hospitalization at GSWB Med/Surg 5 left me with significant concerns regarding the quality of care I received. I was admitted as a 23-year-old male with no notable medical history, presenting with multiple deep vein thromboses in the right lower extremity and pulmonary emboli in both lungs. From the outset, my physical limitations were considerable. The pain and swelling in my leg made ambulation very difficult, and even at rest, I remained uncomfortable. Upon any exertion, I became short of breath after only short distances. However, the nursing care I received was highly inconsistent. It was not uncommon to go hours without seeing a nurse. Only one nurse conducted a physical assessment, which occurred on the day of discharge, and that evaluation was limited to

It was the first time in my life I was in a hospital 🏥 to be treated for something. All my other times at a hospital, I was just visiting. I was scheduled for out-patient surgery very early morning. The entire staff was wonderful. It couldn't have asked for, or received better care. My physician (who performed the operation), the nursing staff, and the rest of the staff were fantastic!!!

I saw Dr. Christian today and had an epidural shot. Dr. Christian is Absolutely one of the best Doctors I've ever seen. He talked me through the whole procedure answering any and all of my questions. He makes you feel comfortable and confident. The pre procedure nurse Erin was OUTSTANDING as well as the post procedure nurse Patricia, I can't Thank them enough for their #1 bedside manner experience. Overall I am sure that if you need a pain management team you could not do any better than the ladies at the check in to the nurses during the procedure and of course Dr. Christian. Thank you all!!!
