Deny - Defend - Depose - Based on this interaction, it appears that if an individual is not already a Geisinger patient, prescriptions called in by their physician will not be filled. If this is Geisinger’s policy, physicians and patients should be clearly informed of this in advance so they can make appropriate arrangements, especially when traveling out of state or in need of timely medication.
I've really been pleased with the friendly service and promptness of getting prescriptions filled at the Geisinger Pharmacy. I'll be switching my entire family over.
Stopped as a walk in for blood work and I was in and out in about 15 minutes.
