Garnet Health Urgent Care - Middletown

Dear Garnet Health Urgent Care Billing Team, I am writing to file a complaint regarding a billing issue that has been ongoing since our visit to your facility in November 2024. Both my husband and daughter were seen at Garnet Health Urgent Care for a bad cough and chest congestion. The physician recommended chest X-rays to rule out pneumonia. Before the visit, I confirmed that Garnet Health Urgent Care accepts our insurance, and I paid the required copay at check-in. I later received a separate bill from Empire Radiology, which I was told handles the reading of X-rays for your facility. My insurance company informed me that Empire Radiology is out of network, resulting in unexpected charges. Since then, I have submitted our insurance information to Empire Radiology multiple times, yet t

4 weeks ago I went to urgent care because I was having severe pain in my tailbone area in my back. I went here to try to figure out what was wrong and our doctor was Dr. Sayeed. Dr Sayeed tried to say that since there was no trauma to my back there was nothing wrong. He also tried to say there wouldn’t be anything wrong unless me and my mom were lying about an injury. He said that there was no need to get an x-ray. The next day I went to another urgent care and they gave me an x-ray and they said I had a slipped or herniated disc in my L5 Lumbar spine. I went to a spine specialist and he made me a mri, ct scan, and 7 view x-ray for my Lumbar spine. I just went back and I did indeed have a problem with my back. I tend to have to visit urgent care often after my regular pediatrician appointments because of mis diagnoses with an autoimmune child , there is one specific nurse in Middletown urgent care who is the sweetest person , very kind and professional always - every NP and doctor we’ve seen has been great and thorough. I gave the rating a 3 because of the extremely LOUD OBNOXIOUS FUNERAL SOUNDING music they blast in the waiting room as if anyone who’s unwell wants to hear that at the ridiculously loud level. Please turn it DOWN My daughter had a bad headache and it was making it worse it’s nearly intolerable.

Today, my life partner and I went to the urgent care for my neck's muscle spasms so, "doctor" named Kathleen came in the patient room and I told her about my neck situation then she said "nothing I can do....I can give you a shot for pain muscle and send a muscle relaxer for a night. I want to send you to x ray room." She made me want to lose my temper! She knows NOTHING about check on the muscle to see if its spasms!!! I had been come to this place for my muscle spasms and they always gave me muscle relaxer many times but now this woman..."nothing I can do" pffty! I won't come back to this place and its very terrible service!

This place is nothing short of a joke. I’ve been to the urgent care and told “they’ll call me for test results” and to this day I’ve never received a call but y’all make damn sure that bill gets sent out. Today my pregnant wife goes in for excessive vomiting and needing fluids and she’s told “they don’t have the resources for that.” Go literally anywhere else, this place is terrible to say the very least.
