Food is not for Seniors! Too much carbohydrates and desserts that do not suit people with health issues and diabetics! There happy hour does not suit all seniors especially the ones that don’t drink alcohol!!!

Mom was there just a short time due to her passing. She enjoyed the activities, friends she made etc. However the office manager needs to go, anytime a “boss” has to belittle an employee in front of others, that is unacceptable! Her business etiquette is sub par as well as all she said to me was she’s the one I give moms apartment keys too when move out…. No I’m sorry for your loss etc. just awful! Surely Garden Estates can do better in hiring someone who has a heart! Every time I went to sign in, I felt welcomed by Susy and Mandy at the front desk. Any concern I had was addressed by Brad. The food could use a little help. Many times meat was tough, overcooked, other selections on the menu were not diabetic friendly. Not a wide selection of vegetables or fruits, lots of carbs and star

What a Great place to Live! My mother lives in independent living and has enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are so helpful, friendly, and courteous. My mom enjoys gardening, art, and dancing. She also loves the full size kitchen in her apartment because she loves to bake and cook. She has meet new friends here and consider this her home.

I want to thank all the employees at Garden Estates for helping my mother make this difficult transition from her home to assisted living. My faith was truly challenged as we tried to find a facility she would be happy with. And then we found Garden Estates. Each time I visit I see residents sitting at the front door greeting us as we arrive and in the lobby mingling. Sometimes I am not sure if I am waving to a resident or someone who is visiting a resident! They seem lively and happy here. And most importantly, my mother seems happy now. Yes, it takes time to adjust but the staff stays positive and encouraging at all times. They know their business and they are GOOD at it. They care. And I will never, ever be able to thank Keisha enough for being kind and interested in my mother. I adm

Meals were NOT appropriate for diabetics, cardiac patients, or hypertension (low salt diets). The food quality seems to be a running joke between many of the residents. As a visitor, visiting my mother-in-law, I overheard residents discuss things like: "What was that brown stuff last evening?", "Whatever that supper was last night, it was so salty I couldn't eat it.", "my salad was more like sludge", and "I couldn't maintain my blood sugar eating that food, so my health has declined rapidly since I moved here." I am pretty sure that senior living facilities are required by the state to provide meals that meet senior's dietary needs. The owner's couldn't retain reliable staff, and the decent staff members who tried to recommend or implement improvements were let go by corporate management
