Furey Family Eyecare

Every member of the staff was pleasant and efficient. I made new patient appointments for myself and my 2 kids. They had all 3 of us in and out in a very timely manner while still being incredibly thorough and explaining everything to us. My son needed a light prescription for glasses. The doctor told us that, although we could get the glasses there, it was our prescription and we could feel free to take it with us to shop around. We felt absolutely no pressure to buy there whatsoever, although we did end up purchasing from them because my son found a pair of frames he really liked and I thought the prices were extremely reasonable. We had a great experience and will definitely continue to use Furey Family Eyecare.

Just read a negative review of this practice and will set the record straight. I have been a patient of Barb’s since 1999. I always have excellent service and have never had a bad experience. The doctors and staff are professional, honest and of the highest integrity. Mistakes happen everywhere, but this Optician would take ownership and make things right. Break frames, repair and paint? Never. I remember one instance when I wanted progressive lenses. I had not had them prior, but I wanted to try them. After a few weeks I was not able to adjust to them and Barb replaced them for me, no questions asked. That is why I continue with this practice, they want the best for their patients. The experience described by another patient just is not possible here.

I appreciate the honesty and integrity of Dr. Furey and his team. When it comes to contacts, eyeglasses, and the overall health of your eyes, Dr. Furey and his team won't recommend that you do something just to make a sale. They believe in quality and durability. Scheduling is easy, and the service is friendly. I am extremely nearsighted, and I have severe astigmatism. Barbara is AMAZING! She always makes sure that the frames best match my prescription, and she always inspects the glasses to make sure that the lenses are perfect.

My family have had nothing but positive experiences at Furey Family Eyecare. The staff consistently answers all our questions before and after making our appointments. Very comfortable coming to this office, the doctor and his entire staff are always very friendly and professional.

What an awesome experience after being stuck in a large eye doctor practice for years. I had heard about Furey Family Eyecare from some friends and gave it a shot. So glad I did. My annual eye exam would usually take around two hours. At Furey I was out in 59 minutes! Nice staff and very efficient. I WILL be back!
