Friendship Haven Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

I had a family member who was residing in Friendship Haven while receiving rehabilitation and during her stay here I was extremely pleased with the interactions, care and attention provided to her by the staff. They were very welcoming, friendly, attentive, prompt, responsive and so respectful. They did an outstanding job in keeping us informed on her needs and progress she made while at the facility. The nursing staff, aides, therapist and admin were exceptional, always friendly and helpful when needed. A+ all around for the staff. The facility was always clean, fresh smelling, and well maintained. My mother in law lived at friendship haven for 2.5 years. When your love one goes into a facility you don't know what to expect. We found the facility to be clean. The staff were always carrying for her and really made her feel like family. The nurses were personable to the point that they would fix her hair apply makeup help paint her finger nails etc. Ms. Jody she is the nursing director. She would personally call us to discuss different treatments for my mother-in-law. When things changed with her health needs I feel that we were kept in the loop and able to make the choices that she needed to take care of her. My experience with the Director of Nursing, Joddie and the Assistant Director of Nursing Loretta at Friendship Haven was bar none, THE best! I have much experience in long term are facilities and this facility is clean, responsive in a kind and timely manner. Staff acknowledges you in passing and residents seem genuinely happy. The best compliment I can give is, "I would absolutely let them care for my most loved family member!"

I would highly recommend Friendship Haven for you or your family member. They have it all. A beautiful place inside and out, caring staff members that will take exceptional care of your loved ones and great residents. They offer fun daily activities for the residents to take part in. The office staff and nurse supervisors are quick to handle any concerns you may have.

My mom has been on the 600 wing now for several months and we appreciate the care she is given. The nurses are great, but I was saddened when one of the CNAs was moved to a different wing. I know I am not responsible for staffing decisions, but we miss Gabby Z - she is a top shelf care giver.
