Hopping Eye Associates - Friendswood

We were welcomed very warmly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Reid Hopping is amazing and has given my eye sight back. He did an excellent exam of my eyes and listened to me about my sight. Thank you Hopping eye family for all you care and concern.

Today you have lost the trust we instilled in your office. When my son broke his brand new glasses within 1 day of having them, you said no problem we can do a replacement since it’s under 30 days. At no time did you state I needed to bring in the broken pair when I picked up the new one. We no longer have the broken pair and now you want to charge us another $600 for his glasses. I do not think it’s fair or right that the lack of communication on the process from your office costs us. I will be taking our business elsewhere, If I have to pay again I’d rather pay somebody that cares about their patient. Unfortunately, the sorry is not good enough in this case.

My phone call convos and front desk experience were not pleasant. The younger girl at the front desk is not very inviting or warming. Didn’t smile or welcome me in, doesn’t say thank you/you’re welcome. Just asked for insurance card and told me have a seat. My calls were also that way—very dry and not welcoming. The nurse/Dr/and (glasses fitting) nurse were kind and nice and thorough. I didn’t like they did some testing without telling me the price first. The flow made it seem like the testing was included but at checkout I was hit with the bill. My co pay is only $10 but I paid for a $49 AI test that I didn’t consent too. I was a new patient and unfortunately, I do not see myself going back.

Had a fantastic experience at hoping Eye. Dr. Reed was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the entire visit smooth and efficient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality eye care!

Hopping Eye Associates has always provided me and my family with the best of eye care for the past 15+ years of seeing several of the doctors. The staff are professional (courteous and helpful) and while the doctors all have full schedules, I can still get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Further, every time I’ve had an emergency, I have gotten in immediately. I highly recommend their exceptional care!
