The young clerk behind the desk had no problem talking about how much she did not enjoy tourism and hates it when people ask her where they should go for food. Extremely inappropriate behavior considering this is a tourism town.

I want to share my experience. And let people know that in today's world of craziness, there are good people who care about the customers. Some friends and I went for the whale watching tour in Friday harbor. As we live in Port Townsend we decided this would be something fun. And it is fun to go there. And the whale watching tours are always great I highly recommend it. I always get a hoodie and a t-shirt. I told my husband I would buy a hoodie for him but the restaurants that my friends and I chose to eat at was very slow and service and we spent an hour and a half waiting for food. So we didn't really have enough time to go shopping. I was really disappointed and I wanted a hoodie for my husband because he could not go due to him having to work. Yikes came to buy some allergy medicine from this store and within two minutes being in the store was yelled at by rude employee. Took my business to a different store in the island.

Our local, friendly pharmacy, gift, tourist trinket and household "general store". Need crayons for the grandkids? Forgot a potholder? There's that sticker or ladle. You're a person, not a number at the pharmacy. They love well-mannered pups, too.
