When I decided to come into fresh coast I was greeted. I moved into housing over a year ago one of my first memories was how we all received gifts and dinner for the holidays it meant so much to me that they cared. For the first couple of months I attended iop and groups that helped me alot they helped me get a resume together and start working. The houses are nice the staff is great. And all the people that you meet that have gotten there lives back is incredible. I had a 2 year probation that I got off of in a year. Because of the stability and recovery focus that fresh coast gave me they even went to court with me . I've never seen them kick anyone out for strictly money. As a program participant of a little over a year I saw many very disturbing issues within the program and those who run it at the higher levels. They definitely play favorites and they will do the most for, as well as bend their own policy for those people. Among those favorites, the "Leadership" chooses the ones they have groomed to be controlled by them to be in other leadership roles. "Leadership" didn't care for me likely because I didn't kiss their butts nor was I drinking the proverbial koolaid. On more than one occasion they made me feel it. There where comments made by them in front of me and I'm sure behind my back that were incredibly unprofessional at a minimum. They made it seem to me, that a person is allowed to stay in their houses by the goodness of their hearts, but that

This facility is amazing. The staff there are very helpful and knowledgeable and caring. They have all types of class for recovery and sobriety and employment. They have a clothing rack for men and women in need. They offer housing for men and women in recovery and reentry into society. They are a faith based organization. I am so grateful for them

This has got to be one of Muskegon best . Very friendly, they have many different programs

Sometimes they help. Only when the addiction is in the right addict. Maybe they should take the mask off themselves and not judge others trying to better their lives to be come a better productive member of society while on parole. Waste of time.
