Had hernia surgery done robotically by Dr. Sabido. I am so happy with the result. I felt so well cared for, from the consultation to the follow up. I had seen Dr. Sabido 20 years ago for a breast biopsy and he was so caring, I would not trust anyone else. I am glad I came to him for this procedure.

I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Sabido. Prior to seeing him, I went to another RUMC surgeon who completely berated me. He told me that because “I have so much fat” and “am not normal like others” (yes, those are real things he said), I’d likely have a horrible recovery and even get pneumonia from the anesthesia. I’m a 24 year old woman who, aside from being overweight, is in perfectly good health. I left that office in tears and called Dr. Sabido the very next day. His office got me in the day after that. Trusting my gut and choosing Dr. Sabido was the best decision I could’ve made. I had my gallbladder removed by him, and my recovery has been so smooth. Obviously after surgery you’re not going to be in zero pain, but all things considered, I cannot imagine a better recovery than this.

I would like offer my highest recommendation for Dr. Sabido, who performed my Henia surgery in April 2025. From our first consultation through post-operative follow-ups, Dr. Sabido and his amazing staff demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, expertise, and compassionate care that made a significant difference in my experience and recovery. Prior to surgery, Dr. Sabido took the time to explain the procedure in clear, understandable terms. He addressed all my concerns with patience and ensured I felt confident and informed. His calm demeanor and thorough explanations helped alleviate my anxieties about the surgery, he made me laugh. The surgery itself was a complete success, and I experienced minimal discomfort and a smooth, rapid recovery—something I credit not only to Dr.

Doctor Sabido was so sweet on my first visit even hugged me and made me feel comfortable and that I was in excellent hands. He is a great surgeon but and yes here comes the but. After the surgery I had some questions and called his service. He called back hours later and was extremely nasty and harsh with his words. Next day I started bleeding from bellybutton and was in the ER. I called his service again 2 times btw. He called me back as his surgical team was looking at me and again arrogant and extremely insensitive. Needs better bed side manners!!! Funny thing is you never know who your patient is and who they know cause it’s a small world out here!!

Dr. Sabido was my moms surgeon. He also performed my hernia surgery many years ago. I highly recommend him. He's caring, takes time with you, and explains everything.
