Frederick Health - Urgent Care at Emmitsburg

Receptionist was very friendly and upbeat. Nurse who took blood pressure and temp didn't tell me what they were. Any medical office always provides these numbers to a patient. I had to ask Nurse practioner if I had a fever. Neither were very personable or showed any compassion.

We had the most amazing trauma-informed care for our daughter. Our amazing Doctor Tess didn’t rush her care and just do the easiest/quickest fix. Instead she took into account what was best for our daughter’s mental health too and built a care plan around that, in conjunction with really listening to us. We have seen many many doctors and her level of professionalism and compassion was unmatched. Our nurse Gigi was incredibly kind and put our daughter at ease immediately. And Denise at the front desk was the warm + kind welcome everyone wants when they find themselves at urgent care late at night on vacation. I cannot recommend this Urgent Care enough.

I don’t have an issue with facility . I have a problem with the fact I cannot call direct. They cannot do X-rays everyday. I called number provided to make sure they could do X-ray , I was assured they had someone ! after driving there( which was painful) only to be told no technician and then had to drive to Frederick.
