Franklyn Palace Massage

In case you don't know, a foot massage is actually a full body massage with your clothes on. This place gives great foot massages. If a quiet room is necessary for you to enjoy your massage, this might not be the best place for you as the workers usually talk amongst themselves in the big room where everybody gets massaged. Keep in mind they do not get paid any of the house fee of $25 per hour so the only money they make is what you tip them. Massaging somebody for an hour is hard work.

We started our day looking for a massage. We stumbled upon lucky foot spa which had four and a half stars. However when I called that number they said they were now operating at franklin palace massage which had three stars. I was worried but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. As someone who doesn’t get massages regularly I was pleasantly surprised. The space was nice and clean (don’t let the dirty fish tank fool you) Overall the vibe was very calming and the massage was deep and thorough. Disregarding the other reviews my experience was great. The staff was kind and helpful despite a language barrier. We deeply enjoyed the entire experience. I would come again. Edit: Me and my significant other spent $61 dollars with tip. For that price I don’t mind the cigarette smell.

Had an amazing massage 90 minutes for $55, gave the lady $20 tip and she kept trying to pressure me to give her more (demanding $40). When I refused, shd said that I was cheap (insulting a customer). This messed up my whole experience there and I will never return. I will be going back to Jade Twin Massage (a block over) once they are done with upgrades.

I used to come here at least twice a week. I AM NEVER GOING BACK! I watched 3 owners take over this place. I brought groups of friends here too. Twice though I have brought people with me and twice they have insisted we tip them $10. I have no problem tipping but my guests were taken back by the insistnce before they could leave that a $10 tip be paid. I was a bit shocked and thought it was a flook the first time it happened but a second time? Then I went back by myself. While I was there they had a male client in a side room. The woman argued about this the whole time I was getting a massage. My massage therapist was angry mumbling and yelling at everyone. The man had tipped over $100 and when the woman working on him, came to my massage therapist, she gave her $40 to $60 of this tip,

Wendy talks a lot. She's too distracted and the massage isn't therapeutic. The whole place has a lot of talking loud. Including the owner. They don't even try to lower their voices they just talk loud to each other. There needs to be curtains to separate them from each other. And someone was playing their own music on the side that sounded like EDM. They don't like being tipped $10 for each hour of massage. I don't know what they expect especially when the massage isn't good.
