Severe Mistreatment and Rights Violations at Monterey Healthcare and Wellness Centre (Rosemead, CA)! I lived at Monterey Healthcare and Wellness Centre, 1267 San Gabriel Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770, between December 2021 and January 2022, and I need to share what happened there so others are aware. One night, after staff refused to give me a cigarette at the usual time, I became upset and started throwing small objects. As I walked toward another part of the wing, a male staff member came up behind me and forcefully twisted my arm backward three separate times, causing excruciating pain. I was not attacking anyone. Afterward, staff took away my personal phone, saying I could have it back once I was calm. Although I had used the charger earlier that evening in an act of self-harm, I calmed

I've been hosting a bible class at Monterey 4 the past 12 years! And its always been a pleasure! The staff and residents have always been great 2 work with! Thanks 2 the residents the experience has always been electric and a blessing!!!

Love the Monterey healthcare , all the staff are always nice to us when we visit. They are very helpful, the answer any questions or concerns we have. They are there for the family:)

Monterey Healthcare & Wellness Centre, is just the right place to go for patients who needs more time to mentally and physically stabilize and get ready for lower level placements for quality of life. It has trained healthcare professionals who knows how to take care of the type of patients that it has.
