My daughter who is at Purdue visited this clinic since it was in network with our insurance. She has been there twice during her time at Purdue and both times was a mess. This latest visit last week she had already had one a virtual visit and then Came in for an in person visit after being sick for a couple of weeks and not getting better. She did test positive for flu B and the doctor prescriber her steroids and cough medicine. I was ok with this but my daughter added me on via speaker phone with the doctor and I explained that she may need an antibiotic. He said if the steroids don’t work I will have a standing order that will be called in if she is not getting better after the steroids. We had a great experience at the urgent care. Every person we encountered was kind and helpful. We got thorough care and the health care staffed were very experienced and competent. We were seen immediately and had almost no waiting time the entire visit. I wanted to add this review because I saw several bad reviews and almost didn’t go because of them.

The front desk, doctors and nurses try their best. Unfortunately, the system beyond these is very bureaucratic. Specifically, I experienced very poor interactions with the billing department who could not locate paperwork and communicated so ineffectively that it was embarrassing. A lot can be solved by moving into the present century by having online forms and processes, and sending secure electronic messages with email alerts as needed. There is also a need to train staff to read forms appropriately so they recognize when a relative has permission to advocate and handle financial transactions when authorized. This place deserves 0 stars. Used to be one of the best urgent cares to go to, but it has gone very downhill. You are never able to see an actual doctor anymore and the nurse practitioners don’t treat people like they should. They don’t take time to look at your chart or listen to you when you are telling them what works for you and what doesn’t. Don’t waste your time or money. Go somewhere else.

This urgent care is a joke. They didnt even look at an asthmatic 5 year old with the flu with concern about a severe cough. They actually told me to stop using albuterol. Please don't take your kids here...
