France Optical

I just got the clip on for my new eyeglass which highly recommended by owner. I paid $160 polarized clip on. I put it on came home. The clip on is falling a part when I taken out clip on from my eyeglass. Call the store, no one answers. They closed at 4pm.

I was traveling through Virginia on my way home to New York, when my lens fell out of my prescription sunglasses. I had no tools to fix them and could not continue driving all the way home looking into the sun. Siri guided me to France Optical, which was right around the corner from where we ate lunch. The storeowner fixed it for me immediately for no charge. I left a donation in the collection box for a local charity they were promoting. It was fast, friendly and easy. I was very grateful and happy to get my glasses fixed, believe me.

I dropped off a Ray Ban sunglasses frame yesterday for an RX lens with progressive and transitions options. Before I dropped it off, I asked around nearby optical shops for quote and quick returns. Most of the ones I asked will be done in a week the shortest and 2 weeks the latest. The prices quoted were really outrageous ranging from $350.00 to $475.00. My last stop was France Optical. I think it was a father and daughter team that greeted me, answered all concerns I have in a very professional manner. I was quoted a best price for a best product and service. I was promised that I would get it back in two days, meaning tomorrow, July 17. At 4:00 today, July 16, I received a phone call saying that my glasses are ready. I originally went to France Optical because it was close to my house, but will be coming back in the future. I found their frame variety, brands, and lenses quality much better than the big box stores. I left with exactly what I wanted: a new style and better vision. Family run business is always better. I may go back for sunglasses next summer.

I needed my sunglasses repaired on my way to dilation at RGW. The technician fixed them quickly and noted they only ask for a donation to their non-profit of the month. I was glad to help. Plus they help the homeless with eyeglasses. Wonderful people!
