Four Paws Animal Hospital

We are from out of state and our dog developed a lump on her side… We read the wonderful reviews of this hospital and they got us in very quickly. The staff is wonderfully friendly and compassionate. They took plenty of time to explain our options and delivered quality care we couldn’t be happier with our experience Special shout out to Shelby.

Dr. Jessica Burns has cared for our little Havanese, Emmie, since we moved to Southport in 2023. Emmie has a collapsing trachea and now several other health issues with her increasing age. Dr. Burns and her staff are always compassionate and empathetic with Emmie and us. She is gentle and thorough with Emmie’s health issues. I strongly recommend Dr. Burns and her staff.

Everyone from the reception to the doctor were top notch. Pleasant, caring and willing to listen. I highly recommend Four Paws for you dogs health (probably cats too, but I don't have one).

Having moved into the area recently and not having a veterinarian, when our cat got sick,(wouldn’t eat or drink) Four Paws was there for us when no one else could “squeeze”her in! Their care and kindness was impeccable!! I would recommend Dr Burns and her staff to anyone looking for great veterinary care !!!

What an outstanding practice! I just moved to the area and our beloved dog had to be put down. Dr. Burns, Kate and Taylor were informative, professional and very supportive throughout the entire process. I remain grateful for all they did for our pet and me during this difficult time.
