Foundation Medical Partners

My wife used the services of Foundation Medical Partners. After our insurance paid the bill, we owed $6.49. We never received a bill for this balance. On October, 20, 2024 she received notice that this balance was sent to a debt collection agency, We call FMP billing. The gentlemen told us that all bills were paperless as of January 2024. You had to go to their portal to get the bill. In the past, all bills were sent by mail. So we received no bills either by email or mail. Then they send it to a collection agency. I wonder how this will affect our credit score?

I now understand why the reviews are so bad. I have been put into collections for a bill that was paid 6 months ago! I gave them the check number, the amount, the address I sent it to as well as the date. That was not good enough. Impossible to deal with regarding billing.

So far we're not off to a good start. I'm a new patient and misplaced the health history intake form, which was originally mailed to me, and is needed for my first appointment in 2 days. Your staff is unable to email these generic forms, nor are these forms available to print from your website. I had to go in person to pick them up, only to find when I got home that I was provided the wrong paperwork, and now I'm on my way back there again to pick up the correct copy. An improvement would be to make such forms available electronically to minimize frustration for the patients. Hopefully I'll be able to leave a better review in the future.

Shady billing. Needed refill for BP meds, nurse called me back asking if I had any BP readings from home. When I said no, she said Doctor wanted me to come in to take my BP. In the meantime, my blood work came in and he reviewed it. What practice charges you an office visit to read your blood work to you when you have a regular visit scheduled in 2 months and everything is within a normal range even if it's on the upper end. We did decide to recheck something because he said it could be a false reading...DECEPTIVE! Billing was even worse!

These doctors are absolutely horrible. Dr. Neera Gupta is terrible, incompetent, and has an appalling bedside manner. Billing is a joke-they just bill you for whatever. I kid you not, I have a bill that I have no clue where it came from. I'm not one to leave bad reviews even when repeatedly scorned. I'm actually not one to really leave reviews period. I just would hate to see any one else get treated the way I did here. Do not go here, turn around, find a better doctors office. The one star is giving them too much credit...
