Dr. Atkins is the only vet I know. He handles our babies with love and care. He and his staff are super knowledgeable. They offer get boarding prices and I feel good leaving my babies with “family”. I’d give more stars if they were available. I am happy with Forest Park Animal Hospital.

I brought my fur baby here because she had a bite on her paw that looked infected, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. They didn’t rush us at all—everything was explained clearly, and they took their time to make sure both my pup and I felt comfortable. They carefully cleaned her paw, gave her the shots she needed, and treated her so gently the entire time. What really stood out to me was how attentive they were to her comfort—they talked to her, reassured her, and moved at her pace. On top of the amazing care, the cost was very reasonable compared to other places I’ve been. I took a feral female cat to Forest Park Animal hospital for spay. They treated her well. They were affordable. And I returned her to the outdoors 3 weeks after her spay. She was very happy to go back outside.

My dogs have been going here since 2012 The quaint office gives me a feeling of visiting my grandmas house especially with the resident fat Tabby cat. The staff is knowledgeable and know all of my dogs names by heart.They don't minimize your concerns and always provide a diy/natural remedy before a prescribed one.Services are reasonably priced and they have monthly specials for rabies shots. Ditch the pet store vets, Dr. Atkins doesn't disappoint.
