Food Lion Pharmacy

Love this pharmacy. After having issues at other nearby pharmacies - long waits, meds not ready, missing, or wrong, I moved to Food Lion a few years ago. Staff is always friendly and efficient, communication is clear and timely, questions are answered with patience and clarity, meds are ready on time, wait is never more than 1-2 minutes, usually no wait. Also love that it’s in the front of the store, so it’s an easy in and out… but I can also pick up groceries if needed.

My navigator always tell me which way to go when I need to go somewhere farther in the northern Virginia area I love my navigator it's like the five stars sincerely Michael a Taylor

I stopped using the big pharmacies (e.g., walgreens and CVS) because I was tired of waiting for prescription and standing in line for 15 minutes +. I shop at Food Lion because of the best prices on food, so it made sense to try out the pharmacy. Any Rx my doctor sends here its filled almost instantly and the Pharmacist knows who I am when I walk in the door. Another perk, I am never in a line waiting for a Rx that may or may not have arrived electronically. All in all a great pharmacy to use if you like convenience and quick service. I have been using for years now and I have never had one issue.

Amy in the pharmacy is the BEST!!! She knows her customers by face. It is always a pleasure seeing when I pick up my monthly meds. I will never go back to dealing with CVS or any other large chain pharmacy. Food Lion always has everything ready in a timely manner.

I have been using this pharmacy for 20 years. The same to Pharmacy’s have been there for an extended period of time. Kate and Amy always make me feel like a valued customer. Often they have my prescription refilled before I can even call. Sometimes there will be an expensive medicine that has a coupon available and Kate will have printed out the coupon and taking the discount without me even asking for it. They are a great team and I am fortunate to have them as my pharmacists.
